In New York 2 Days - Good Italian Restaurants?

Taking the daughter on a short trip to new York before school starts back

Any suggestions on things to do?

Anyone know of some really good authentic Italian restaurants?

What about little italy? Is it worth taking a look?

If you're in NYC you should try IL MULINO or Barbetta for restaurants and you should definitely go to Arthur Avenue for deli's, food, etc.

and yes, Little Italy is worth checking out...go to Mulberry Street and walk around...Go to Umberto's Clam house 132 Mulberry... where Mobster Joe Gallo was killed...

Enjoy the Big Apple! Spent a lot of my working life up there for a few years-had an apt midtown 34th and 3rd/Murray Hill...great area for sports-bars and near Herald Square...have fun!
