Taking the daughter on a short trip to new York before school starts back

Any suggestions on things to do?

Anyone know of some really good authentic Italian restaurants?

What about little italy? Is it worth taking a look?

If you're in NYC you should try IL MULINO or Barbetta for restaurants and you should definitely go to Arthur Avenue for deli's, food, etc.

DiFara's in Brooklyn...the best Pies/Pizza in the world...get there EARLY, standing room only....

Next up, Lucali's over in Brooklyn

and yes, Little Italy is worth checking out...go to Mulberry Street and walk around...Go to Umberto's Clam house 132 Mulberry... where Mobster Joe Gallo was killed...
